Does Dream Destinations have a minimum stay?

We generally have a 5-night minimum stay for all of our condos. Some exceptions are permitted, so please inquire if you are interested in booking for 4 nights and we may be able to accommodate your request. We do not accept bookings for 1, 2 or 3 nights. a

What time is check-in?

Check-in 3.00PM. If you arrive in Miami earlier and wish to drop off your bags and explore the area, head straight to the beach or have a leisurely lunch while your condo is being prepared, please let us know ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What time is check-out?

Check-out time is 11AM. If your flight is departing later in the day or you wish to stay longer than 11AM, please inquire with us ahead of time and if we are able to accommodate a later check-out, we are happy to do so. All check-outs after 11AM must be approved ahead of time, no exceptions.

Is a deposit required to secure the reservation?

In order to book/reserve a condo, a 30% deposit is required. This deposit is part of the total rent and is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to check-in date. After this time, the deposit is non-refundable. Some condos require an additional security deposit.

Is a security deposit required?

Some condos require a refundable security deposit to be used against unforeseen damage to the property. This is no different than the credit card imprint taken by hotels at check-in. These funds are either never charged through (if no damage is done and no incidentals are purchased) or refunded less the cost of damage/incidentals at the end of the guests' stay.

Are there any cancellation charges?

In the event of cancellation, you will need to give us notice at least 7 days prior to your check-in date in order to receive a refund.

Are there any charges besides the rental rate?

Yes, there is a condo association fee of $125 for each rental. This is charged by the condo building and pays for services including pool, Jacuzzi and gym use. In addition, there is a departure cleaning fee for each rental, which pays for the cost of cleaning the condo upon checkout. Thirteen percent tax is also assessed by the State of Florida, and City of Miami Beach.

What information should I provide in order to book a condo?

In order to best meet your requirements we request the following information:

  • What dates do you wish to travel? Please provide us with your exact dates so we can check availability. If you are flexible, please also provide us with your alternative dates.
  • How many people will be traveling with you? What kind of bedding do you need (kings, twins, sofabed)? Are you flexible? Can two persons sleep in the living room on a sofabed?
  • How often will you require maid service, if at all?
  • Do you have special requirements?
How do I make reservations? How is payment handled?

Email us or give us a call, and we will handle all the hard work for you! We will email you our standard rental agreement for your signature. We also collect payment information from you on the rental agreement. Once you sign and return it to us, we will process the 30% deposit and send you an email confirmation of your booking. We do accept all major credit cards. We do not accept cash on the day of check-in. Payment by check can be arranged provided it is a few weeks prior to check-in.

Are there occupancy limits or a maximum number of guests permitted?

Yes, there are strict occupancy limits for each condo. Each person will be required to register at check in and no additional overnight guests will be permitted. Please let us know the number of people in your group when booking.

What do I do when I arrive? How will I obtain keys and get into the building?

Our Operations Manager will make arrangements to meet you at the condo building and check you in. You will be shown into the condo you booked and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the condo. We will show you around the property and go over the available services & amenities. Once you are settled into your new accommodations, we hand you the keys and will leave you in peace to enjoy Miami Beach as you see fit!

Who will help me if I have trouble while I'm in my condo?

What if I get there and I don't like the accommodations?

We do everything possible to make sure you are choosing the property which is right for you. Make sure you give us as many details about your requirements as possible before you book.
However, if you arrive at your accommodations and find that the property is not as it was represented (for example, it is a One bedroom and not the Two-Bedroom you reserved) please let our Operations Manager know immediately and we will do our best to remedy the problem. Please remember that we cannot do anything unless we know about the problem. Guests who complete a stay at a property that lacked necessary services without notifying us should not expect a refund after the fact.

Can you arrange transportation?

Dream Destinations uses the services of a private car-for-hire firm and is able to arrange transportation services from any area airport at a competitive rate.

Can I extend my booking??

Certainly. We will be happy to extend any bookings subject to availability at the time the extension is requested.

Can I book for one or two nights?

No. Our minimum booking is 5 nights. We offer weekly and monthly rentals as well.

Is cleaning service provided?

You may pay for extra housekeeping services. Please see our Concierge form for rates.

Is parking available and included in the rate?

Yes, one parking space is included with each rental. Each property has an assigned parking space in the attached garage.

What kitchen appliances do you provide?

Kitchens have top-of-the-line appliances, including stove / burners, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle, pots and pans, dishes, silverware and cutlery. Every property has its own washing machine/ dryer and dishwasher. Please check the details for the property you are booking.

Do you provide cooking utensils?

Each kitchen has a complete set of cooking utensils, dinnerware and cutlery.

Do you provide bath towels & linens?

Yes, bath towels and linens are provided. We are proud to offer luxury Bvlgaribath products.

Is there a telephone line?

Most properties have their own direct dial telephone. There are a few exceptions.Local calls are free, long distance telephone charges are at the standard rate.

Do you provide wireless internet - Wi-Fi?

Every property comes equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi that is free for guests to use during their stay. You will be provided with the security code upon check-in.

Do your properties have air conditioning and heating?

Absolutely! This is Miami after all. Every property has air conditioning. Heating is also available for the few days each year that the temperature drops below 60.

Is there a restaurant on-site?

Since our properties are located in residential buildings, they generally do not have restaurants. However, there are several wonderful options within a few blocks in South Beach. We have also partnered with a few local delivery services if you would like to order in.

Do you provide gym facilities?

There is a small gym located in the front building on Ocean Drive. You can access the gym by using your key FOB.

Do you provide cable television?

All properties have flat-screen TVís with a minimum of basic cable. Some properties offer extended cable channels and DVD players.

Are cribs available?

We have a limited number of cribs and essentials available for a small rental fee. Arrangements for these items must be requested in advance. Please see our Concierge form for rental fees.

Are the properties smoke-free?

Yes. Smoking is not permitted inside any of our vacation rentals. Guests may smoke outside on terraces. An additional cleaning fee will be assessed for smoking inside.
